A number of you will probably be members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club and many of you probably have parked your motorhome on one or more of the 160 plus sites that the club has dotted around the UK. Hopefully, you will have had a most enjoyable short break or longer holiday on one or more of their sites.

Well, you may be interested to read that the above club has submitted a proposal to create another site that is close to Belvoir Castle. The castle is located near to Grantham in Lincolnshire. In fact, the site would be within reasonable walking distance of the castle so it could prove a very popular stop-over for many motorhome owners.

The site would be made up of around 140 pitches. This sounds like it would be a sizeable site. It is also expected to provide some tent pitches as well as a number of glamping pods thus providing an extensive selection of pitches for various types of campers.

Apparently, the planning application would also incorporate a play area for children, a toilet block as well as a reception. It sounds like the new site would be well equipped thus benefitting motorhome owners.

With the proposed site being within walking distance of the castle it could prove appealing to many people who both own or rent a motorhome but also have an interest in castles.

If the application were approved then 2 part time jobs would be created as well as 6 full time jobs. We are sure that you will agree anything that can be done to create jobs is a positive factor.
