You may find it interesting to read that, according to the 2021 Motorhome Inflation Market Report produced by buymymotorhome.com, there was a large increase in the price of second hand motorhomes in 2021 in comparison to 2020.

Apparently, used motorhome prices rose by 13.86% in the 12 months between 2020 and 2021. That equates to an average rise of £4,060 – no small sum.

One of the reasons why the prices people are paying for a used motorhome have gone up is due to the fact that new motorhomes are not as freely available as in the past due to an issue with getting a certain part. As you will no doubt be aware, it is unusual to see the price people are asking for a second hand motorhome to go up in the space of 12 months. Normally one would expect to see the price of a used motorhome go down

Derby saw the biggest rise in the number of sales of used motorhomes with an increase of 15.3%. In next place was Stoke on Trent at 13.8% and in third place was Exeter at 11.5%.

The most popular used motorhome sold in the UK in 2021 was Auto-Trail, followed by Volkswagen and in third place was Swift.
