Those of you interested in buying or selling a motorhome or campervan will be pleased to hear that it is planned that showrooms dealing in such leisure vehicles will re-open in June. Obviously, if there is deterioration in the pandemic then this situation may change and the proposed re-opening of such retail outlets may have to be delayed but let us hope that this is not going to be the case.

This will enable people to get out there and start looking for a suitable motorhome or campervan whether it is a new or used one. Of course, it remains to be seen when it will be permissible for people to venture out in those vehicles to enjoy a much needed weekend break or perhaps a longer holiday.

You only have to look on the Internet to see just how many motorhome retail outlets are planning to re-open next month. Obviously, they will have to meet the stringent guidelines laid down by the Government before they can re-open. For instance, they will no doubt have to ensure that there are suitable social distancing measures in place on the retail premises. This may require such businesses to limit the number of people being allowed onto the premises at any one time.

It will be interesting to see if there are many enticing offers being made to potential buyers by those selling new and second hand motorhomes and campervans. After all, the Coronavirus pandemic has probably made many people wary about parting company with their hard earned monies or wanting to take on a loan to buy such a vehicle in case the virus returns at a later date putting them out of work. If you are on the lookout for a new motorhome, don’t be frightened to ask the dealer if it is prepared to negotiate on the price or include one or two extras for nothing. After all, “if you don’t ask, you don’t get”!
